Seniors Hervey Bay

The Fraser Coast Regional Council through the Hervey Bay Safe Scooter Committee has available for Fraser Coast Residents a Safe Scooter Booklet which is available free of charge by contacting the Seniors in Focus Project Officer on (07) 4125 6329.

It is a handy, easy to read booklet that outlines the rules and regulations associated with owning and operating a mobility scooter with the original concept being derived from the Bendigo City Council.

The Fraser Coast Regional Council and the Hervey Bay Safe Scooter committee wish to thank the City of Greater Bendigo for the waiver of copyright allowing for local production of the Safe Scooter Booklet for the benefit of local motorised scooter and wheelchair users.

To compliment the booklet the Safe Scooter Committee also conducts Education Sessions which are held throughout the year.
