The new Halcro Street Community Centre located in the old Telstra Building in Pialba is now open from 9am - 3pm, Monday to Friday with a range of services offering volunteers the opportunity to be involved in their community.

"The Seniors in Focus project can act as a first contact point for people over 50 on a variety of topics," Julie said.
"We don't know everything but are certainly willing to find out or to put people in touch with others who may be able to help."
The Seniors Project is also involved in the Seniors Expo, Seniors Week activities, scooter convoy, scooter education sessions and Art Affair.
"We also support the Rolling Bones seniors' drama group, ladies fishing, a coffee morning at the Halcro Street Community Centre starting on 17 February at 10am and we also produce the Seniors' Information and Seniors Activity Directory which will be available from the Halcro Street Community Centre.
